St. Clair Bowl Youth Program Information
Saturday Morning Youth Program o 5 Leagues – Over 200 bowlers – 6th largest in the State of Illinois.
Pee-Wees, (Ages 3-7) Bumpers Available Bantams, (Ages 7-8) No Bumpers Preps, (Ages 9-11) Juniors, (Ages 12-14)
Majors, (ages, 15-21) Modified to work around high school season.
o Advanced bowlers can participate outside of their age division, however,during tournaments, the bowlers will compete within their division.
(Example; A 13-year old bowling in the majors due to their high average will compete in the 12-14 division during the singles tournament).
o We have over 15 certified coaches on Saturday mornings to assist bowlers.
One-on-one coaching available for children that are struggling.
A clinic is held each year at first part of the season for parents that want to become coaches or assistants.
Grand Prix Scholarship Program o Program operated through the Illinois State Bowling Proprietors Association.
o Children earn scholarship points for bowling in leagues and tournaments.
o Any age can register.
o Fund Raiser conducted each year in January. Minimum $10.
o $3 registration fee each season.
o 150 bowlers from St. Clair Bowl are registered.
o Scholarship funds are available for post high school education.
Junior Adult Leagues o Each year we offer leagues where parents can bowl with their children.
o We offer a Monday Night Challenge and Wednesday Night Jr./Adult League during the summer.
